Everyone’s favorite Pigeon is back with a new picture book perfect for kids preparing to start school.

In The Pigeon Has to Go to School!, Pigeon isn’t so sure about school. He already knows everything! And what if he doesn’t like school? What if the teacher doesn’t like pigeons? What if he learns too much!?

Award-winning author and illustrator Mo Willems tackles the fun and the fears that everyone—even The Pigeon!—faces when venturing into the unknown.

Willems has received three Caldecott Honors for his picture books, and two Theodor Seuss Geisel Medals and five Geisel Honors for his celebrated Elephant & Piggie series. He has recently been named the inaugural Education Artist-in-Residence at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.

The Pigeon Has to Go to School! can be found at your favorite book retailer or ordered online. You can also download activity sheets on pigeonpresents.com.
