It's the most wonderful time of the year! Whether you are driving around Falls Church, North Arlington, Vienna, McLean or anywhere this holiday season you can be sure to catch fun, festive holiday lights wherever you are. One of our favorite traditions is driving around, eating sweet treats and sipping on tea and hot chocolate and looking for the brightest and greatest holiday lights in our area! You can check out my full list here, complete with a google map for easy directions and locations!
This year, I thought it would be fun to put a Scavenger Hunt spin on our annual tradition and my kids really enjoyed it! The list is fairly simple so even the little ones can do it if you are so inclined.
Plan ahead by making a quick dinner with a simple clean up so you can get those kids in the car and start looking at lights - it's one bonus to it getting dark outside early in Northern Virginia. By December, you can get in the car at 6:00pm and it's dark enough to really see the lights. Enjoy!
