Flight Adventure Park: Fun for the Whole Family

Keep Your Kids Active and Having Fun This Winter

By Allison Tursi, Holbrook Macaroni KID Publisher Mom February 10, 2022

The weather is cold and we are struggling to find activities for our kids. Activities to keep them active and busy while it's too cold for them to play outside. My kids always need activities to help get their energy out and they are always looking to run around (which I don't necessarily want happening inside my house).

This week my family was invited to Flight Adventure Park Ronkonkoma to come and play after school. The kids had so much fun jumping around (and so did I)! Their favorite? The foam pit! I could not get out after jumping in and lost my socks, but I enjoyed watching them jump in and try all kinds of fancy tricks – they had no issues crawling on the foam blocks and getting in and out.

My kids were so excited when I surprised them after school with some jump time. They are always asking to go to Flight Adventure Park every time we pass by, and I'm so glad we were able to go this week. Their smiles were so big the whole time we were there and I loved hearing their laughs as they were jumping around. I am thinking of letting them earn jump time for doing their homework, listening, and helping out at home – I love a rewarding behavior chart!

There are several sections of trampolines for kids of all ages to enjoy. Basketball hoops, dodgeball, a foam pit, trampolines everywhere, and a toddler area.

Flight Adventure Park provides a wide range of activities that lets guests reconnect with their body and mind, while engaging in fun, lighthearted community entertainment. My kids loved jumping around in one section and then they would dash over to another area to explore and jump around.

Flight Adventure Park is a multi-experience, family entertainment venue that creates an environment where the young and the young at heart can empower their imaginations and explore their physical space.

From older kids to younger ones, there is an area for everyone in the family to enjoy. They even have 3 days (Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday 11am-12pm) just for kids ages 6 & under. Flight Adventure Park not only engages guests with fun and entertaining experiences, but provides an excellent outlet to test balance, agility, muscle control, and coordination.

During the pandemic, the Flight Adventure Park team took the closures as a time to recalibrate and rebrand their organization, identifying opportunities for efficiency, engaging Team Members, and enhancing company culture. The Flight Adventure Park team worked closely with its general managers – who retained their employment throughout the pandemic – to enhance their parks, tackling roughly 300 projects to expand the parks’ activities and amenities. These projects ranged from operational upgrades to the development of new customer guest offerings. After learning this, it appears Flight really cares about their team members and guests and that’s a company my family is proud to support.

Visit Flight Adventure Park online to find the location nearest you and then grab the family and head over for some good old family fun! Your kids will love it and you will be happy you did! We can't wait to plan our next visit (or for my kids to earn it)! We hope to see you there!
