SWIS considers and meets the needs of each student. This is accomplished through creativecurriculum and professional teaching techniques. Our enrichment program is based on several developmental domains
which include:
gross motor skill development;
fine motor skill development;
social and emotional development;
cognitive development;
language development.
Infants and Toddlers
This age is very important in young children, since they can only communicate with sounds and body language. Knowing that someone will respond to those signals helps your infant develop trust and a feeling of security. Your child will then be able to enjoy our safe, stimulating environment, on a schedule determined by his or her individual needs.
Preschoolers
It’s sometimes called the “Terrible Twos,” but that is not a challenge for us! In this stage of development we offer lots of opportunities for
parallel play. In addition, we introduce important social and emotional skills such as sharing and playing with other children.
Pre Kindergarten and Kindergarten Age
Children are very independent in this stage of development. They like to interact with their peers, and they love to problem-solve. They also like to help others. Our programs are designed specifically to help foster this age group’s social and educational development.
School Age Children
SWIS offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for school age children. If they need to do homework, we can assist them at
our “homework station.” If they prefer to play, we have activities to keep them busy and make sure they are having fun.
We offer full-time and part-time care for your child, a siblings discount, and pick up service for students
from nearby elementary schools who need after-school care. We can accommodate any parent schedule. In addition to our weekday
7AM to 6 PM hours, we offer extended, overnight and weekend care. We can even design a schedule just for you.
